    Uh Oh..the Wilbur's doomed. :D

Anyway, creditwise, the drawings and text were both done by Carpedean; I can only claim credit for the SPACEDOCK stats.

I see this ship as a perfect vessel for a small PC group of lower ranking characters; this vessel is ideal for situations where a runabout is inadequate but a larger ship is unnecessary.

Wilbur class starships would make great utility auxilaries for the Gambler. The Wilbur would also be a great ship for any campaigns set at a Starbase for characters to travel.

BTW if Lt Clyde Hooper of SCN ever gets his Mussel class to where he is satisfied with it, I might do that ship next.

Agreed... A runabout is useful as a long range shuttlecraft but as Deep Space 9 showed, they didn't always fare so well on independent missions. The Wilbur, as Carpedean noted, is a ship with the minimum systems of a true starship, as opposed to a runabout, which is essentialy a hopped up shuttle.

Oh that would be fun....especially if it is one of the better known myths....the best part is having the crew explain all this to the Department of Temporal Investigations on their return. :D

Oh yes...:D ESPECIALLY if the DTI men start asking players about the reports of "anal probes" by witnesses....

Seriously, I see such ships becoming more common in the Post-Dominion War era when both ships and personnel are in short supply. Such ships would free up bigger ships for more improtant duties.

UFO's aside, watch out for "giant space dogs" that play fetch. :D

Looks like a wonderful post DW design, not flashy, just practical and compact.
