My record is 301.4 metres.
Exactly 303, even without trying very hard. :D
I guess it pays off that I have played that game before. It took me some time then to figure out that you strike after letting go of the mouse button an not when clicking.
Update that to 317.1 :)
Just out of curiousity, do those of you not living in a German-speaking country know who is meant by Reinhold?
The mysterious phrase inscribed on the rock, "1978 Reinhold + Yeti" refers to the legendary mountain climber Reinhold Messner. In 1978, Messner climbed to the summit of Mt. Everest without supplementary oxygen, which was at the time a herculean feat. In 1986, he claimed to have seen a yeti, otherwise known as the abominable snowman; the Himalayan version of Bigfoot. He spent the next 11 years trying to solve the legend of the yeti, and in his book, My Search for the Yeti, he comes to the inevitable conclusion that the yeti is likely a large brown Himalayan bear.Quote:

:) Oookay. It seems that he is quiet famous. Surprising that a British man like you knows so much about him, considering that the hills in my yard are higher than the Ben Nevis :D (+/- 1343m).Quote:

However, I am a follower of mountaineering and one the world's most famous explorers/mountaineers is British. Sir Ranulph Fiennes. Oh - and the first man to scale Everest was Sir Edmund Hillary. Another Brit.

What can I say? LOL Some people are born penguin whackers! (Hmmmm.....that does sound a tad odd!) :-)

Sorry to burst that particular bubble (being a fellow brit) but Sir Edmund Hilary was a Kiwi.

I forgot. I was working on the old tradition that to be knighted you needed to be from one of the four great British domains (Scotland, Wales, N Ireland and England) and their associated colonies (er...you got me there. Oh yes - the Falklands).
591.4.. I have invested a lot of time in this?)
316 m
That reminds me of an old NES game that I had. It was a wacky olympics game with Snoopy. One of the events was the boot tossing contest. :)
Up to 321.0m......how the hell did those guys get over 500m?
Cheers
Tas
I'd pay real latinum for a "Whack the Snot Out of the Annoying Windows Butterfly Dude" game. ;)
