Hey, where's the guy with the obligatory 2 rating? Come on, dude, you're slipping. We've gotten accustomed to it. Where can it be....?
Chris
I gave it a 7 & thought it was a pretty good episode. However, it seemed to be more of a filler between last week's episode (which I unfortunately missed) and Archer's inevitable showdown w/ the Xindi Council.
Tripp's struggle in dealing w/ the death of his sister did resonate w/ me though. A few months ago a good friend of mine was killed in a hit-&-run car accident. He was only 30 years old. Even though he wasn't family, his death affected me b/c it was so sudden and b/c we don't usually think young people will die. So I can relate to Tripp's difficulty in accepting his sister's death. Sometimes I still find it hard to believe my friend is actually gone.
The next episode does look interesting & has me intrigued.
I missed the first 35 min. of the ep, but I liked what I saw, and I didn't vote, but i will sundayish.
Next weeks ep looks good, but a little like that DS9 ep where the Defiant crew finds there own decendants crashed on a planet!
I don't watch the show often, but caught this one. I thought it was quite strong: the character interaction was well done and engaging. I also like the ship is still trashed from some former episode.

I gave it 8, the scene where Trip confronts Degra was pretty interesting but I am going to look forward to "E2" (written by Mike Sussman of "Twilight" and "Anamoly").
Damn! I forgot to watch it! :(
Guess I'll need to catch it in reruns.... someone remind me. :p
Found this one a bit meh.
Trip's Letter was a touching side story and the story arc developed a little but on the whole it just felt like filler.
It doesn't stand up to the last couple of episodes for me.

This is still a lot better than "reality" TV :D
