I was claning out my private messages and notice this Buddy thing. . .and was surprised to find someone listed on it. So what is this for? What does it do?
At some point you must have added someone to your buddy list. The only thing I can see that it does is allow you to PM a bunch of people (those on your buddy list) at the same time with the same message, rather than PMing each of them separately.
It mainly serves as a shortcut to sending Private Messages to friends but, if vBulletin's chat functions were enabled, I believe it would also allow you to send chat invites to friends who are logged onto the forums. I'm not 100% certain, though.
