Well, damn.:(
This is terrible news.
Oh god, and here I was hoping that the scene from Knight Rider 2000 was just a parody... :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
:( I honestly don't know how to respond to this sad news.
I can only express my gratitude for his contribution to Star Trek. Thank you for being "Scotty."
Very sad news.:(
Uhm, pardon? I must have missed something.Quote:

There's a scene in the "Knight Rider 2000" TV-movie where Knight runs across (almost over, IIRC) a very confused Jimmy Doohan who's talking like he thinks he's Scotty.
I never did find that scene particularly funny.
Especially not now.
I'm impressed and amused you could recall a scene from the Knight Rider 2000 TV-movie.
But I'm sure that Mr. Doohan's comedic acting is deliberate, just as his comedic scene in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier ("I know this ship like the back of my hand." *Scotty banged head on bulkhead and knocked out*).
You're forgetting that he had just been zapped by some sort of stun weapon by KITT. So of course he was disoriented and confused.Quote:

Sad news indeed. It was because of Scotty I Became an Engineer:(
I read on MSN today that James Doohan has Alzheimers. :( Link to story
Quite sad, indeed.:(
Yes, it is sad to hear.
It was TOS that got me into Star Trek in the late 70's.
