[FASA ST:STCS] - Draft USS Tenacious, NX-72941, Heavy Patrol Cruiser
PDF attached, and opinions sought.
NOTE #1:
Non-standard construction methedology used (Redcap's House Construction Rules #1 - Shuttle bays, brief included in pdf)
NOTE #2:
This is far from finished. I reckon I need to up-gun the ship, in addition to adding the SS/SCU allocations for the drop-pod tubes and storage facility. Chances are that by the time this is done, the class will have risen from XI to perhaps XIII (it was oringinally intended to be a class IX cruiser!)

Guidance on space utilisation for ship deck plans?
Hi folks -
OK, for my USS Tenacious heavy Patrol Cruiser class concept and stats, I now need to draw up deck plans. I figure that this is probably the more straight forward method of conjuring up the external view of the ship, so I need to know the following, in the vague chance that someone has the information I need!
Is there a general list of the space (squares) required for all components of a Trek ship? if so, where?
I need to know this so as to allocate the right amount of space to each section, i.e., crew and troops quarters, messing, standard space for beam and missile weapons (by type), MARA (Matter/Antimatter Array), engine nacelles (by type), impulse drives (by type), computer cores (by type), and so on.
Oh, and I already know about the table in the FASA "Ship Construction Manual", but it's none too detailed, to say the least. Typical entries in that table (SCM, 2nd Ed, pp 34) read "Variable" for most of the key areas, I'm sorry to say.
I was hoping that someone has a more detailed requirements table that relates to FASA, as I've already been pointed to the "SciFiOne - JohnB Shipyards - Plans Index" at http://chem.csustan.edu/JTB/PLANS/plans-index.htm which is highly complex and detailed, but not at all linked to the FASA material
Here's hoping someone has what I'm looking for, anyhow
Oh, and by the way, anyone wanting Enterprise-D plans - I found a site that shows the original designers blueprints - available ONLINE! it's at: http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicl...riseDPlans.htm
Enjoy, and thanks in advance for any help on the above :)
