This is something new which I thought was appropriate since it seems to be the standard format accepted for developing and airing Enterprise. For most of us, contrary to the statements of B&B, the idea of using Arcs in a Star Trek series is not new it goes back to TNG in some ways and absolutely bloomed in DS9 and was used to some minor extent in Voyager.
