I picked this book up to give the Titan series another chance after the previous book, whichw as gawdawful. It's managed to redeem itself in the it has come up with and interesting subject for explorers to play with, that of the galactic macro-ecology for all those super big lifeforms like the Farpoint citters, that Macro protozoa from ST:TOS and other big critters. Great material fora explorer campaign
