Dr. Borlaug is credited with having saved over a billion lives (Literally. No hyperbole with that number...) with his work on hybrid crops. He's now terminally ill, not to mention being over 90 years old. If you're in the States, please write your congress-critter to pass HR4924, the Congressional Tribute to Dr. Norman E. Borlaug Act of 2006, while he's still with us.
