So I am GMing my first session for my new Star Trek game this coming weekend, and was planning on using the I'Iglii (sp?) from the old FASA adventure "The Vanished". Has anyone had a chance to do an ICON conversion for the I'Iglii?

This is very rough, but should be good enough for what you need. Note that since ICON task resolution works very differently from FASA, I have assigned default skills to the I'Iglii energy pulse and pseudopod attack, and assigned a Willpower Edge to the otherwise non-existant Presence (FASA Charisma). All other considerations in the FASA writeup should be followed.

Hope this is of use.
Thanks Owen!
I was trying to define them as creatures under ICON, and being driven to the edge of distraction with all of their special caveats. It makes better sense to define them as a species.
My first thought was to use the creature rules, but the FASA text is very clear that these are sapient beings, just very, very alien.
Note that although I gave a specialty in Primitive Weaponry, since they could conceivably pick up a melee weapon and use it, I didn't assign a specialty in Unarmed Combat - if they can't even conceive that other beings are sapient, they aren't going to be able to use Kung Fu, moQ'bara or Starfleet Martial Arts. I assigned a new trait, Sensitivity (Heat) to reflect that although they may be made severely uncomfortable by heat, it's not really a Medical Problem, or any similar disad. I based the damage of their energy pulse on a comparison of the FASA damage with a FASA phaser, then slotted it in the same range using ICON phaser damages.
Enjoy! Hope your game goes well.
