Ever do any work with the old animated show's aqua shuttle?
I find the TAS shuttles aesthetically wanting, in the extreme. In fact, most of TAS I prefer to ignore.
I totally agree with you. In fact, the only bits of TAS I have not tried to scrub from my brain are a) Robert April was the first captain of the 1701 Enterprise and b) there are aquashuttles. These work for me because both concepts have been used in the Expanded Universe novels by Pocket Books back in the 80s and early 90s. Plus, a submersible shuttle appeals to the James Bond in me.
