The Ziegler System

Description-
Ziegler is composed of a Class A7 White Star with thirteen planets, the fifth of which is Class M. The first is Class Y, and totally untouched by everyone; - even Tholians. THe second and third each have 6 moons, and are 17,350 and 17,110 km planets that are desert planets with thick, cesium-krypton atmospheres that require extensive filtration and breath systems, and are mined for their vast mineral riches.
The Fourth Planet has been used by the Klingons, both before and after joining the Federation, as a barren, remote exotic training site for Marines, and is a Class K Planet with three moons; - the sixth Planet is a Class R Planet with two moons and highly bizarre, variable weather and minerals; - 7 & 8 are a Class N double planet with gigantic, diverse ocean life studied by thousands of federations from the First Federation as early as 800 BC to around 300,000 ad, the ninth Planet is a 268,000 km Gas Giant with numerous red, yellow, orange, beige and pink stripes and 60 moons, and the other four planets are Pink and Green Ice Giants with 17, 16, 9 and 5 moons between them, both beautiful and their moons are mined and used for variously purposed outposts.

Description-
Ziegler V has always been a distant, but central population center in the Galactic Community, being colonized by Centaurans in 2120, and then by Humans in 2132, becoming part of the Federation in 2165, then the Coalition in 2428, then Blake's 7's Federation in 4300, always doing spectacularly well.
