I was looking at these and i was wondering: didn't the ramp com ou tthe ass end of the thing? Like in Star Trek 4? But these show it coming out the front end. Am I just mixing up BOPs or just going nuts?

yes the bop in ST:IV had a ramp projecting from the rear.
Oh well,
you can always alter it to your liking.
I for one(of many most likely) am thankful he put it/them out for others to have..
and I now say "thank you" to greg for his deck plans..
after sending it to my last group(with a BOP) all they had to say was oh yea baby...
I like them too. I would like to know if that is a font he has (for the writing) or something he did freehand. Greg, if you read this, could you email about that? Thanks man! ^.o
You also have to remember that the Bridge of the BOP was remarkably different between Star Treks III and IV, changing from a crew pit/commanders plinth design to the design we are more familiar with...
As a side note, I was sure that the 7th season of DS9 put doors at the front of the bridge... This indicated either rooms or further corridors to the side of the bridge.
Does anyone know if the Rotarrin was B'rel or K'vort... The Decipher CCG states B'Rel, and its docking mass compared to the Defiant also indicates a similar size... This makes it a B'rel, but the odd internal structure leads me to believe its much larger, thus a K'vort.
Was there any on-screen references, or are BOP's just a groovy kind of TARDIS?

I'm glad some people have found the BOP plans useful. I did them about 4 years ago, based more on the orignal BOP from STIII (more like a B'rel),but I have deleted the original CorelDraw files, so I had to scan my only print copy!!! Therefore, I can't really correct any mistakes.Bugger!
They aren't that accurate, but I wanted to see if I could fill the space up with what I thought might be there. I guess I forgot about the landing gear and the ramp!!! I thought people would rather have the flawed version that nothing, until someone does a better one (Owen....?).
I think the fonts used are the Klingon ones you can get from some of the Trek fan websites (Klingon stilletto, Klingon TNG, etc).
cheers,
Greg
PS The Maquis ships is even less accurate, but I assumed it was a light transport or courier modifed to serve as a Raider. I have a Cardassian Galor class cutaway nearly finished, and maybe this Summer I will try to do a full set of deckplans for it!

hmm... heres a thought: Klingon Houses are like medieval lords, right? They owe loyalty to the conusel. They commission they ships themselves, and send them into service with the empire -helpfully stuffed with their lackys to do their plans. Soooooo..... they would all be different based on what house commissioned the ship. And the templates that are in the book are the 'average'.
Thats just IMHO.

In Star Trek Generation Offical PC Strategy Guide there are Klingon Bird of Prey layouts.
