England and Holland are neighbours, so there must be some mutual influence. I also think many Dutchmen migrated to the West in the past few centuries.

Rather than post a lot of different smilies, why not post links as to where you got them from.

And for convenience's sake, label which web site has smilies based on Star Trek, Star Wars, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.

Possibly. But we're close to Germany too.
And South-African is a mixture of Dutch and English, IIRC.
