I tried searching the archive but wasn't coming up with much. I'd like to run a movie era Star Trek game using the SpaceDock rules but to be frank I dread having to build all the ships myself. I'm especially looking for the Enterprise, Excelsior and Reliant classes as well as the K'ting'a and Bird of Prey ships. Thanks.
Okay I just found Swampy's old posts with Constitution, Miranda, Excelsior, and K'tin'g'a classes. If there are any other TMP era conversions, on here I would like to find them. The Search Engine won't let me use "TMP" because its too short.
BTW, Steve, are you still working on a TOS era SRM, or has that been scrapped due to real world concerns?
I'm not still working on it, but that's because it's finished, not because I've abandoned the project. :) It includes 47 ships (Federation, civilian, and Threat race) from 2065 to 2293. However, it does not take into account anything depicted on Enterprise -- that's going to have to wait until I have more of the show to refer to, and the time and desire to revise and update as required.
Right now all that the book needs is for Don to do the layout. :)
Once that's done, though, there may continue to be real-world considerations hindering its release. But once those evaporate, the completed but not yet released SRMs (Cardassians, Klingons, TOS Era, and soon Romulans) can be unleashed on an unsuspecting world pretty quickly. ;)

Okay then this beggars a question I'm sure you've been asked before:
Back before LUG went down, the were advertising a Movie Era Sourcebook actually due for release at around the same time as Spacedock and the Time Travel sourcebook. Is there a chance we'll be seeing that finished up and posted here?
No, no chance at all.
The Final Frontier (to give its proper name) wasn't even completed due to the whole WOTC buyout thing. Additionally, those parts that were written (all the starships I wrote up, for example) were by multiple authors, which further complicates situations. Most of the bits were, AFAIK, acquired by WOTC when they paid off the authors; other bits were kill-fee'd back to their authors. Some of the authors may've gotten kill fee'd and posted their material online. If they have, I'm sure someone will point it out.
The "time travel" book, All Our Yesterdays, did come out.

So, Steve, do I take it that the TOS-era SRM will NOT include any of the Enterprise material?
I am hoping that this is the case (and can't wait for the finished product!). What can I send Don to get him to hurry up? :D

But it's not all on Don's shoulders. Even if he were to finish it up today, I probably couldn't release it immediately for a variety of real-world considerations. That's why the Cardie and Klingon SRMs, which are all done and laid out and everything, haven't hit the boards yet.
