Schisms... Part II
I am contemplating a plot concerning the 'cabbage-head' aliens from Schisms...
Tentatively titled 'Night Terrors'
All I know of this plot is that I want the situation to start AFTER the initial experiments... As they are making final preparation to begin their assault from Sub Space...
Thats all I have right now... Well that and an episode write-up...
But it still needs work... Anyone got any ideas?
BTW, this will be for the Venture, so dont write it to be 100% concrete, a lot of the players are here. And if the playres themselves have any great ideas... lets hear them...

Night Terrors is a TNG ep name ain't it?
Those aliens were from a deep level of subspace weren't they? If so does that mean you need to be a warp for them to coexist in real space?
-
Yes and Yes...
I said tentatively titled... As I have yet to hit a better episode title, and may do better later when the plot is firmed up.
Yes the aliens are from SubSpace... But I do not see that Warp is the only means of transmission/crossing... There are literally hundreds of subspace phenomena that can be abused or simply made up to suit...
Including artificially created ones...

Had to do this :)
How about "Strangers in the Night"
Again sorry ;)

I must say... Its most ulike this group to fall short of ideas for a plot! Hadn't expected to hit the concept game that beat you all!!!
Counsellor, do you think this reverse psychology will work?
-
How about "What dreams may come"? Haven't seen the film, so don't know if you'd mind giving the adventure the same title.
As for them getting from subspace to "our" reality, Suspiria was able to transit from a subspace domain to Voyager, and Wesley's "static warp bubble" trapped Beverley in a subspace domain, so there isn't really a problem...
-
OK, some mental notes...
I have a nice stable subspace tear thanks to all that over warp 5 stuff. Now while I know many of you hate the 'speed limit' that simply means that you'll have to find your own stable subspace breech. The irony here is, I'll have to find a different subspace anomaly for the Venture anyway... Its just too far out...
The means of insertion. Well, coming from my 'cabbage head' commenbt earlier, I have decided that this could pretty much replay 'Invasion of the Body-Snatchers'... With the experiments abord the Enterprise D were simply finding ways of adapting their own DNA to create a hybrid army... yada, yada, yada...
Still plenty of plot holes. But is that sparking any more ideas somewhere???

I really like the whole IFTBS angle. :)
I think they replace one ship that investigates a subspace tear and then lures other ships in may be a way to go?
What exactly are you looking for?
-
mmm... Bodysnatchers...
Maybe with Donaldd Sutherland as the Romulan Ship captain... And that would mean that the initial investigations could even have had Leonard Nimoy aboard...
Could I... Dare I!!!!

I suggest checking the lower decks for pods Dan ;)
