Back In Time (or Help !!!)

O.K. Here is the concept, I have been running htis campaign for a few modules, the crew of the USS Kensington have been on a post DS9 mission to find relics and archeological/ scientific information on the T'kon empire. In my campaign a rebuilding effort of the federation on Bajor uncovered information that in the twilight of the Empire they had made contact with Bajor. Anyway in tonight's module Q is going to give them the greatest chance to study this ancient culture, by of course sending the crew back in time to the time of the T'kon. :D

So here's my question any ideas for things I should do with them once they are there:confused: it's effectively a blank slate and to be honest I am looking for any ideas, races, alien tech etc.. thanks in advance
