One Crew, One Captain, One Destiny…
The Dominion War has been now over for nearly 8 years but the Federation has known little peace in this time. The Starfleet and its military resources are plagued by personnel and equipment shortage. The dream that once was, the utopian society of United Federation of Planets, is no more, as its citizens are beset by enemies, both foreign and domestic while trying to heal the wounds and rebuild what was once lost.
But there is hope; Starfleet Intelligence unveiled a new, bold initiative… the Avatar program. A top secret group of star ships equipped with modern technologies and well trained crews whose sole purpose is to restore the peace and prosperity that once was … by any means necessary.
Among those ships, one named USS Courageous has just departed on its maiden voyage. Can the captain, her crew and the new, unproven ship make the difference?
Game Details and Requirements:
* Star Trek role playing campaign in progress,
* Modified Star Trek universe with considerably increased realism, but still kept close to the canon.
* Seeking mature players, interested in role playing over roll playing.
* High level of personal and professional development for character anticipated and required by the Narrator.
* Starfleet campaign, with senior and junior staff positions available onboard Starfleet vessel as Starfleet Navy, Starfleet Intelligence, Rapid Response Teams and Ground Forces (such as Starfleet Marines and Rangers).
* Most species welcomed (possible exchange programs to include non member species)
* Seven seasons planned, currently playing season two.
* Each season takes about 30 sessions (six months time)
* Sessions played on Sunday afternoon/evening (from 16.30 onwards, usually till 22.30) in Dianella
* The game is using CODA Rules with agreed house rules.
* Currently group features one Narrator (Game Master) and four players (males and females)
