Here's a wish...

I wish for a moratorium (minimum of 1 calender year) on Styro polls and thread derailment. :D

Of course, that's about as impossible a thing to grant as time-travel or Q-like powers...

Oh well, it's still a wish, right? ;)

That the Decipher Lord of the Rings message boards would come crashing down in a fiery ball of anal vapour, ronsonol and utter crapitude. I can't believe I actually post on those boards at all.

Seriously though, I can understand your frustration, Steven. I started posting there when things had seemed to calm down a bit, but things have turned sour again in Decipher-land, which is why I don't bother to post there anymore. Given the fickle (putting it kindly) nature of the posters there, I think I see why it is that Don is hesitant to get a Lord of the Rings board going here...

All that aside, though, I've thought of another wish:

I wish that we would get a set of Lord of the Rings boards here, and only the decent posters from the Decipher boards would find their way here...and to make it complete, I want to be a moderator for that board, because without the freaks from the Decipher boards, that'd be an easy job! :)

Seriously, and I mean really seriously, I wish the DC area sniper would get captured and slapped into irons soon. Like real soon. Like, by November 9, which happens to be my wedding day. All flippance aside, it would really suck to have a friend or relative come into the area for my blessed day and be forced to duck flying bullets.

So, that's my wish. That this retard or retards get captured real soon and get what they deserve.

On a serious side, I, too, hope that the Beltway Sniper is caught soon, and without further injury or loss of life. Also, I wish you the best on your upcoming nuptials. Congrats!
