WOW! This is great, great stuff! You've got all three of the necessary parts to gaming suppliments- description, stats, and picture of EVERYTHING. Great work, and thanks for posting it! I'm going to print this out and slip it into my bookshelf next to the other core books.
Don't let anyone give you any guff about making the Borg starships weak. You've got stats that are perfect for the way they were protrayed on Voyager. That is to say, ridiculously different than TNG did. You modeled that correctly.
On to constructive criticisim: I love having stats for the Voyager crew. But it seems to me that Neelix should have some skill to relate to his cooking abilities. Artistic expression (cooking) would probably be right. Also, I would respectfully suggest increasing his World Knowledge skill or adding more specialties. After all, the main reason he was useful in the beginning of the series was because of his skills as a guide, his knowledge of the area. And let's face it, they went for a LONG ways before they went beyond the sphere of his knowledge.
And thank you for avoiding stat inflation. I really liked the stats you gave because not everything was better than everything of a similar type seen before as sometimes is the case with fan-creations. Excellent work, your excercise in restraint makes this very playable.

Well I can get the pages... Download the ziop, and then Winzip tells me its an invalid archive?
What am I doing wrong here? What program do I need for this?

first of all its good to hear such nice words. After all it seems that all the work was orth it http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/smile.gif
the Neelix-Cooking thing, my thoughts exactly and he had Artistic Expression on my hand written notes and I simply forgot it. I changed this now and I increased World Knowledgem, although my idea was to give him streetwise ( delta quadrant ) to simulate his knowledge.
Thanks for the nice words http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/smile.gif
Perrryyy, I am sorry you cannot see it, but I tried it, it should work. However if you send me you e-mail adress I can sent it to you per e-mail. http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/smile.gif
Sorry, Dan. That's strange. I use WinZip version 6.3, what do you use ? Well, I try to sent the unzipped file your way.

I'm having a similar problem to Dan as the place I'm surfing the net from doesn't actually have WinZip on the computers and I can't access it off the Net either.
Which is a crying shame as I was thinking about doing a game set in the DQ.
If anyone can help, well, help!

I got it to download eventually.
Try opening the file from source. It worked for me.
Thanks Evan. Its a sweet little book (Although I probably will retain my own Talaxian and Vidian templates )
So far a good read, and source of inspiration, looking forward to finishing it.

I had a good time reading your book. Thanks for taking the time to put it in english. I have really no criticisms of the material worth mentioning and just wish all of us had the time and talent to put stuff like this on the internet for everyone to enjoy.
