Poll: Various LotR RPG Subjects

I posted this on the other board as well. Please vote at both. :)

We haven't done a poll for a long time... and we can't let the TCG players get all the fun polls! ;)

So here goes!

1) Of the supplements you've bought (this does not include the Core Book, remember), which is your favorite?

2) Of the supplements you haven't bought, which do you most look forward to?

3) How did you get into the LotR RPG? Through LotR? Through RPGs? A combination? Something else?

4) How big is your gaming group?

5) What's the average age in your gaming group?

6) What size gaming group do you prefer?

7) Do you play other RPGs? If so, which?

8) Do you read other fantasy? If so, what?

9) If you could change one chapter in the Core Book to your heart's content, what chapter would it be?

10) What music do you listen to in and out of your games?

1) Fell Beasts by far really has healped my game with the variety of creatures.

2) Both the wizard and the warrior sourcebooks. HOpefully we'll get some new elite orders and some more spells

My group has 6 guys in it, I would probably prefer about 3 or 4 but we all have fun.
Aver age: around 16

7) Another member of my group GMs a Star Wars RPG based using WotC's d20 system.

8) Wheel of Time, Death Gate Cycle, Harry Potter!,........

9) The order chapter it just is so screwed up [sigh]

What about you, ben?

1) Haven't bought anything but the Core Book through lack of $. ;)

2) Fields of Battle, all the way.

3) I'm really into LotR, and also Star Wars; I bought the SWCCG, and since they were making LotR RPG as well I bought that.

4) 4 brothers plus me.

5) 12, ranging from 7 to 17.

6) 3 to 4 plus narrator.

7) I play no other RPGs.

8) Redwall and Narnia is about it I think.

9) Character creation.

10) LotR soundtracks in game; everything but rap and country out, I especially love Switchfoot.

I would have to say my favorite is the FOTR Sourcebook.

Well, since I am a huge Star Trek fan, I found LOTR by playing the Star Trek game by Decipher, and last year in their drought, I found LOTR.

Star Trek, D20 Modern, D&D 3rd Edition.

Fell Beasts.

Hmm...probably either The Paths of the Wise or Fields of Battle.

Both. I've been into RPGs for ages, and read LOTR when the movies came out. They hooked me in and the timing was perfect for the LOTR RPG.

5 players, 1 Narrator (me)

5) What's the average age in your gaming group?

30ish

6) What size gaming group do you prefer?

5 players and 1 narrator works good, though I've had great success with 4 players and 2 GMs/players

7) Do you play other RPGs? If so, which?

Not playing much else right now except LOTR. Some Coda Trek, some d20 Star Wars, a 3e D&D when absolutely nothing else grabs us.

8) Do you read other fantasy? If so, what?

Glen Cook, Katherine Kurtz, Anne McCaffrey, Stephen King, etc.

9) If you could change one chapter in the Core Book to your heart's content, what chapter would it be?

Not a specific chapter, but I'd clean up character generation.

10) What music do you listen to in and out of your games?

Very little in-game, but tons and tons of stuff outside the game.
