Question on Combat Mechanics
During thinking of the 'initiative' as stated in the core book (pg. 226, last paragraph) "characters act in order from highest to lowest initiative test results" it seems a little bit obvious to me that one character has his two action point s to spent, then the second best and so on.
If a character really could place his actions (fi. two attacks) BEFORE the second best can perform his actions, how could the second block/parry/dodge ?
Or should we think of the 'opposing' actions like block/parry etc. as response to the attack ? Then the question would be what would be other opposing actions fi. try to run to avoid a fight ?
Another question is how to handle the sequence of characters telling what to do in the round ? Which character tells first ?
How do you handle this ?
