Midway Station

Welcome to Midway Station, a Play-By-Email Star Trek Simulation. The station's official name is Earth Base 12, but to it's commander and crew, it is better known as Midway Station.

After the end of the Dominion War, Starfleet deemed it unsafe to travel into the Gamma Quadrant, as the Dominion was still a strong force. In the 25 years since then, there have been numerous civil conflicts within the Dominion, as several factions split away after the surrender to the Allied forces of the Alpha Quadrant. There was widespread destruction and damage to Dominion fleets, and it is only after a quarter of a century that Starfleet has finally lifted their ban on entering the wormhole.

A new 'boom' in exploration is occuring in the Gamma Quadrant, and Starfleet needs outposts to operate from in that quadrant. Starbases would take too many resources to build and be to open to attack by renegade Jem'Hadar while under construction. Thus it was decided to salvage, restore, and upgrade several old deep space outposts for assignment to the Gamma Quadrant. Earth Base 12 was one of those chosen. Restoration started, in after several months they had been completed upgraded to news specs, and towed into their final resting place in the Gamma Quadrant.

What are the requirments for Midway Station? There are 2 simple things:
1: Post at least 1 duty log per week (more is always welcome ;-)
2: HAVE FUN!

Tactical Officer
Medical Officer
Counselor
Civilian

The Command staff on Midway Station has 4 years of combined simming experience, and is very dedicated to making this sim one of the best Star Trek sims out there.
