Just had to share this since I'm fit to burst. :)
Thought I'd let everyone know that I was just informed a short story of mine was selected to appear in Pocket Books' Star Trek: Strange New Worlds short story anthology next year. The book will be available in stores in May or June, 2004.

P.S.: I've heard a rumor that it's the odd-numbered books in the series that are the better ones; any truth to this? :)

And, unlike the Trek movies, I think all the SNW books are good; not just the odd-numbered ones. :D

Well I feel I have rather missed the boat on this one as a rather old thread, I nontheless should still say well done, and if I am in my local store I'll have a look out for the book.

I'm definitely shooting for SNW 8. I've already mailed off two stories, and have 6 or 7 more I'm working on. Hopefully one of them will make it in. :)
