BTW, If you just want to bang up thier ship and show them that how tough the Jem'Haar are, set the adventure in 2372. At that time Starfleet's shields don't protect against the Jem'Hadar's Poleron Beam, so the Jem'Hadar is going to blast right through thier shields. The PCs would have a tought fight, but with torps (and range) they could win the fight. Heck, you might even let clever PCs figure out how to adjust thier shields to stop poleron beams Starfleet figures it ut later in the year-maybe from data collected during this encounter).
Just rember, if you blow up the ship, the characters are nly going to last another 30 seconds or so--and the campaign won't last much longer than that.
