Steve Long and I were hanging out at an all-night burger joint and chatting just a few hours ago, but that's unusual and in fact the very first time we've met in person (he's passing through town on his way to OwlCon). On a more normal day, we keep in occasional contact via email and phone, and i've done a couple of small projects with/for him over at Hero Games (most notably, he called on me in my old LUG capacity as "GMing Advice Writer Guy" to do some GMing advice for his magnificent octopus, Pulp Hero). Steve Long is my strongest continual tie to the old LUG crew.Quote:

I still have occasional cause to correspond with folks like Bruce Baugh and Dierdre Brooks (both of whom were writing for me on the movie-era book), and I have once-in-a-blue-moon contact with folks like Steve Kenson or Robin Laws or James Maliszewski, all of whom I was in LUGTrek projects with.
