Shouldn't the Defiant be an NCC with a -A affixed? or is your campaign set a tad earlier than this?

Really? I have to admit that I have either forgotten that details or somehow never noticed... So despite the Sao Paulo being NCC-75633... Starfleet just re-designated it an NX 'experimental' class again???Quote:

OK, now for a reasoned explanation. Perhaps Starfleet negotiated for a Second Romulan Cloaking device and it was the presence of said cloaking device that required the NX designation? Yeah, that'll fit.
