Ehh, I don't think the brig has a window...but I'm going to work on an edit of the ship. I found several typo's (one of them is the pulse phasers, labled as type 12's with type 10 stats, their type 10's). I'm going to cut back (some more)on a few systems, see if I can get some more power (?? http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/eek.gif ??), and fix the population density "heel". In the future I'd also like to do a non-Space Dock version for all those that prefer the simpler things.
Well off to work again...see you all in a few days...

I know brigs don't have windows http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/smile.gif
to gain some SUs back you could drop yor torp launchers to standard with a 8 to 10 spread using mk I quantum and fit a large warp core. Also dropping 540? degree arcs for the phasers to 360 will also give you a few more SUs if needed.
Just a thought

Ok in my defense-
Phasers: your right 360 degrees, I was thinking 360 around by 180 across. Not 180 left to right by 180 top to bottom, my bad so that will save...8 SU's.
Torpedoes: About two hours after posting it I thought about the same thing, except leaving the spread the same. I'd also leave the two center forward torps the same, my logic on this being "if the ship is designed to take out heavily defended outposts (and Borg cubes), equip it with Tri-cobalt-capacity. That weapon was designed with that same purpose in mind" and you need high-yield launcher for that tactic, just not all the way around. Not having the book on hand at present I have no idea how many SU's that will save.
One of the other systems I've been thinking about sliming back on is shield, a big SU and power drain...I'm not real big on this idea though. The ship, if used correctly, will come under some very heavy resistance, I removed the 1200 Ablative Aromr due to SU restrants, I don't think weakining the shield are a very good idea.
By the way, the scaired spy bit almost made me snarf rasins... http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/biggrin.gif (snarf: a word used to describe a person drinking a beverage when a funny joke is told, normally the drink is retired and the owner asks for a towel)

There is no need to defend yourself, and I,m glad you didn't choke yourself to death with my joke (going to the US for the manslaughter charges would be a pain http://www.trekrpg.net/Board/ubb/biggrin.gif it would give the lawyers a headache, the first 'net killing!!!)
Well I have just posted my second attempt at a SD ship, take a look, pull it apart. It might even make a good escort or do recon for your Achillies.
oh yes, dropping your type XIIs from 200 emitters to 120 will give you 3 shots and a some more SUs back.
