My wife has chosen to be a Vulcan Female Navigator.

How did you stat up an El-Aurian? Even though I've yet to buy the Aliens supplement, it sounds like the El-Aurians aren't represented (though I might be wrong on that... I've just found nothing so far to support that it's in there or isn't).

For the Athena campaign (post DS9, Akira)

Tac -- Human/Deltan female from Caldos
I run a post-Dominion War and post-Nemesis campaign (2380) aboard the USS Vanguard (Intrepid-class). We are on a deep space mission into the Beta Quadrant with emphasis on scientific investigation and first contact. The line-up is as follows:

The USS Galahad (my long-running game, which is now dead for want of player interest in Star Trek) had as major characters:
> CO = male Human (NPC)
> XO = female Centauran (PC)
> CEO = male Human (PC)
> CMO = female Human (quarter Romulan) (NPC)
> Helmsman = male Tellarite (PC)
> Tactical Officer = male Human (PC)
> Security Officer = male Andorian (PC)
> Science Officer = male Betazoid (PC)
> Counselor = male Human (PC)
Not all of the PCs were played at the same time, with the same player alternating between the Counselor and the Science Officer and an occasional "guest player" playing the Security Officer.
When we started out our CEO was a Vulcan male and the Counselor was a Betazoid male, but both players dropped out pretty soon.
