Oh Poodoo! I don't have Cartoon Network!
Does painting D&D miniatures count? I have about 50 lined up on my desk (mostly from Reaper).
I also build models when I can find the time, mostly airplanes and sci-fi ships, and an occasional sailing ship (rigging is SO much work). I've gotten pretty good at kit-bashing to make my own sci-fi ships, including an X-wing converted to a Z-95 with swept forward wings.
Oh, and I usually play "pretend" on weekends. That's called the SCA and involves hitting your friends with sticks.
To my surprise, I saw in the store Transformers Legos. They're legos, but they're not legos. Hasbro makes them themselves. So what would stop the current makers of Trek toys from making their own legos? However, I was disappointed with the TF legos. I bought Jetfire, and he doesn't transform without taking him apart. That and the robot form is stupid. If I see the Lego Optimus Prime I might pick him up.
I also picked up one of the new Star Wars mini lego sets, but the store didn't have the Falcon or the ATAT at the time.
I'm much into the old anime they broadcasted when I was young (Saint Seyia, Cat's eye...)
Let's see...
Roleplaying games are at the top of the list! "Isn't that something high school kids play?"
Then KidLit -- J.K. Rowling, Diane Duane, Philip Pullman, Lemony Snicket, Philip Ardagh, etc.
And a weird collection of garden gnomes (indoors) and two Battle Angus "action figures" given to me as a joke (real name = Angus, and the word "Battle" is probably the last one you would use to describe me, either physically or morally...)
Guess that does it. :)
AMEN, brother!Quote:

"So Eric how many DOLLS did you buy this weekend"
yep nothing like the image of a guy in his early 30's sitting around on a Saturday afternoon dressing his figures in new cloths/uniforms. :D
I collect mainly World War II 12 inch stuff (Hasbro (G.I. Joe)Dragon, 21st Century, Soldiers of the World and a few other really off brands), right now I have my Brits out on display (Para, 1940 Bren gunner, 8th Army riflemen, 8th Gurka Riflemen, early war army Commando). Also collect Star Wars Action figures (3 3/4th inch) and Comics.
And let me say this "God its great to be single" :D
I collect 12" figures as well -- mostly GI Joe and World Peacekeepers -- as well as Star Wars, wrestling figures (of my favorites), comic book figures, and comics.
You've GOT to give your inner child free reign, I say...
