My home-brew campaign was a kind of hybrid between Harn and D&D initially, but never got off the ground because Harn was, frankly, way too complex, and D&D didn't have the right "flavour".

So CODA was a Godsend, really.

The spells priests use are essentially the Invocations used in the original Harnmaster game. Priest characters use Courage to represent their faith, and the number of Courage points they have determines how powerful an invocation they can bring about.

There's nothing like the awesome spell array available to D&D clerics, but the basics are there. About half of them are based on LotR spells, and about half of them are my own modifications/conversions of the original Harn invocations.

I can put the Word document up somewhere if you like...or I suppose I could just post the stuff...it's only a couple of pages long.

While it will take some work to get things just right, I have long thought CODA would be ideal for Babylon 5. Telepaths are the most significant obstacle, and the damage system would need to be reworked to reflect B5's grittier tone. Mongoose Publishing has done a great job with their Babylon 5 rules. but I really abhor the notion of playing d20...
