Coolio. No rush. :)Quote:
Transcript will go up as soon as I get a clean copy with the unnecessary bits removed (joins/leaves/spamming) and hopefully with the answers immediately following the questions. It was chaos there for some bits.

Nah, I'm just kidding, but I'm certainly looking forward to reading the transcript. Not as much as I am to getting my hot little hands on the PG, but not far off :D
Here's a transcript of the chat. It has been edited to make it easier to read/follow.
OH thank you thank you thank you :D
A question I didn't see in the transcript (at least not directly, but it was hinted at):
Will you be able to create characters with previous non-SF and have them join SF?
For example, an Elaysian who spent 7 years programming the shell on Gemworld joins SF as a computer sciences officer? :)
It seems like it:Quote:

[20:36]Q: How flexible are the professions? Could I play a Diplomat or Mystic and still be a Starfleet officer, or will I be required to take Starship Officer to be in Starfleet?
[20:37]Pretty flexible. A Diplomat or Mystic can become one of the Starship officer's Elite Professions if they meet the Prerequisites listed for them.
[20:38]You can change professions as well. (END)
Yep. What he said. :)
Coolbeans. It just didn't make sense the first time I read that. (Although my original question was missing the word "previous *experience*, so there you go)
Thanks guys
mmmm....i can't get it
Thanks Thanks Thanks

I'd like to say Thanks to Don and Doug for taking their time to participate, and to Don (again!) for taking the time to put up the transcript, for those of us who couldn't be there.
