I came to realise that Star Trek has a lot of built-in crossover opportunities, so that it would be quite possible to create crossovers while keeping a full Trek setting.
For instance, the Traveller's people could very well be akin to the Time Lords in Doctor Who (I once thought that Wesley would be like a Doctor Who companion with the Traveller - I espect most fans would like to see him as Adric, of course :D).
The Travellers are too nice and uplifting. The real Time Lords of Trek are the El-Aurians: long-lived, full of temporal sensing, mischevious (or evil) when they want to be, can hang out in crowds ranging from primitive humanoids to species so powerful they only need one letter of the alphabet ever–And their homeworld was destroyed by the Daleks... er, Borg.

The Iconian Gateways are very much like the Stargates, as I must have said earlier (I think someone even poster on the adventure seeds thread a suggestion on those lines). The parasites from Conspiracy make very adequate Go'aulds (while Q can be the Ascended).
Don't forget Apollo's species...

Evil star empires are not hard to find in Trek; Jedis are a bit harder to match, but I often wondered if Ocampas could not do the trick (there is one early Voyager episode where Kes senses the death of everyone on a planet while they are some light years away). They had considerable mental powers anyway.
The Romulan Underground: when reconnecting with their Vulcan heritage, they are also rediscovering the psionic potential buried within them. The J'dai Kolinahru use their newfound abilities to help the rebels escape the clutches of the evil Star Empire, while fighting against the elite Tal Shiar Mind War operatives–including cybernetically-enhanced Reman "dark warriors."

The Hirogen have a mentality very close to the one of the Predators, it seems to me. They only lack the cloacking ability, but this can be changed with an encounter with the Jem'Hadar (the aliens in the DS9 episode Tosk are also good candidates, and their prey also had a cloacking ability).
Hirogen who pursue their prey across the galaxy may encounter (and acquire) an number of interesting technological items, including personal cloaks, enhanced sensor vision, and personal self-destruct packages to ensure that they themselves are not taken over by the infectious warrior-form of the Bluegill Parasites.
The Tosk-Hunters could make an appearance as elite assassins and bounty-hunters of the Dominion.

Oh, and someone alreayd mentioned Flint as a good candidate for a Highlander-like immortal.
Heeeeere we are! Born to be kings! We're the sitters-in-a-corner-and-slowly-dyingers-from-lack-of-whatever-kept-us-alive-on-earth of the uuuuniverrrse...
Using Highlander 2 and ditching the rest of it would probably be a good idea, in this case. Earth as dumping ground for a bunch of super-powered aliens–maybe even a bunch of Super-Listeners from early in that planet's history.

Did anyone saw other such built-in crossovers in Trek ? (apart of course from considering that, given how vast the Trekverse is, we can assume that anything we want can be found in it).
Indiana Jones XVI and the Hunters of Orion
