Say, got a question for you guys regarding the organization of the site. Is there anything you'd change if you could? I was sitting around getting ready to split up some of the starships onto separate pages (by government, more or less), and I began to wonder if perhaps I should consider changing anything else around. Would you rearrange things if you were me?

I think it looks just fine the way it is.
Minor update; threw a new starship from K.G. Carlson up there. Also made a couple of organizational tweaks, though it shouldn't be any big deal for anybody.
Some more updates; haven't been keeping up like I should, but I've got a lot of irons in the fire.
The new shape of the site is starting, well, to take shape. I've started adding resources to the site according to what book they relate to -- things for (or mostly for) the Player's Guide, for instance, will find themselves in the Player's Guide section, and so on. This is ongoing, and not all of the books are represented yet. I'm getting there, though, so please be patient.
I've also gotten myself caught up, for the moment, with K.G. Carlson's starships (including one of my personal favorites from the FASA Romulan Ship Recognition Manual from back in the day.

I'm just glad someone other than me still has some love for the Nova. I mean, come on people, with that big ol' eagle on the dorsal hull, its like the trans-am of outer space! (Now, picture Burt Reynolds with pointy ears...)
Also, if I recall correctly,the Nova was the only FASA creation to make an appearance in the Star Trek comic books of the day, back when DC had the license and TNG was still in its infancy.
I have been enjoying the old Fasa birds.
I do believe the Nova did make an appearance in the DC comics.
A few questions, Patrick.
Some ships seem to be missing the ability to 'click' them: unclickable ships are: Federation Baker-class destroyer, Lotus-Flower, Saladin and Samson...there are more. Am I doing something wrong?
Then I can't download the "All Starship resources ZIP". I get an 404 error message whenever I try. This is true for both my browsers: AOL and FireFox.
And did I only sent you the Luna Class write-up? Never my CODA version of the Niagara-class found in the LUG Player's Guide?Quote:

If they're K.G. Carlson's ships, he provides two versions of each, one done with the Narrator's Guide and one done with Starships. Each ship should have a pair of links identifying book compatibility following the names; if they don't, let me know and I'll take a look.Quote:

No haste there. I was just looking over your page and was impressed by all the stuff you have assembled there :)
I am trying to interest a gamer on a german RPG site into giving CODA Trek a try. And I think that the PG previews I just found on your site, might be helpful.
It is entirely likely that I never sent the Niagara write up. Shall remedy that some time soon :)
CODA Trek Support Site Update: Several new starships, an upgrade for the starship construction spreadsheet by Karg, and a star system design tool using the Narrator's Guide and Worlds rules by Leo LaDell. More to come as time allows.

I feel as though Origins '09 may have pumped a little life into the game. Two new Coda Trek GMs debuted this year, and they did a great job. Both of my games were packed. And last but not least, an Origins GM of the highest caliber who has been running Star Wars campaigns for a number of years has picked up Coda Trek and plans to begin hosting games at next year's Origins.
Also, I had recommended both the forums here and your site for general Coda awesomeness. Game on!
CODA Support Site Update. Added some new starships from K.G. Carlson, and also an updated version of Karg's excellent Excel spreadsheet for starship design.
Wow...two updates in one day! A little housecleaning found some new starships by Erahard that had been waiting for several weeks, and I also found Calastir's stats for the TOS bridge crew members who didn't make the cut for the Narrator's Guide. So, up they went!
Nice updates. Particularly like the TOS crew writeups.
I can take exactly zero credit for that. Calastir did the hard work of coming up with the characters, and Tomcat went to the effort to put them into the PDF. All I did was upload the thing.Quote:

Anyhoo, I don't think you have to worry about torch-and-pitchfork mobs, Patrick. Your site for convenient "one-stop shopping" for Coda support is worth the wait in terms of updates. Whatever you can give us is good enough for me.

I downloaded the Enterprise sourcebooks...
And when my connection is in a better mood I'm going to grab the Nemesis sourcebook (considering in our FASA Triangle campaign the Remans are one of the major antagonists !)
Okay, a big update today. Huge, in fact, at least for me. There's a veritable fleet of 23rd century starships from K.G. Carlson, as well as two different house rules collections from Jason Carroll and Georg Witrisal. Enjoy!

Lots of new starships in today's update, as well as an organizational cleanup in the starship section of the page. The ships are now organized not just by government but also by era. The mew ships include the first Cardassian and Jem'Hadar designs we've hosted, but also the first 22nd century ships and the first CODA version that I've seen of the new Enterprise from the latest film.
Also as a reminder, we're always taking submissions, so if there's anything you want to share with CODA Star Trek gamers, drop me a line. The site's address is in my sig, and there's a mail link on the page. Also as a reminder (and perhaps as an ever-so-subtle hint), we do accept more than starships for the site. :)
I really should grab a bunch of the Starships and get a nice PDF (with my art, natch) up for easier consumption. Maybe a TOS-centric Feddie theme?
Oh, by all means, fire it up. We've certainly got metric tons of 23rd century ships up there; I'm sure some people would be more than happy to get them all in one download instead of 40....
Well, my first step will be to confirm the Constitution class, which sorely needs it, apparently. I'll also be compiling the 'construction rules' from the two Decipher books into a PDF.. slowly.. for my own reference, but I can post it up here as well. (It'll be properly credited, of course)

Small, but long-overdue, update to the site to add eight new starships by Iltharanos. More to come soon, as there's a lot of stuff sitting in my inbox waiting to see the light of day. Life's just been kinda crazy of late.
Another part in the incremental update started last night, with a few starships by Fugazi Grrl added to the mix, as well as some Narrator record sheets and a starship sheet, also by Fugazi Grrl.
Last of the incremental updates for the weekend; catching up on K.G. Carlson's FASA starship conversions. Have some other things to post up soon, though I'm waiting on author permissions for a couple of them before I do, and I've got to finish getting one of them cleaned up and laid out all nice and purty before I post it.
Strictly speaking, I didn't design the Starship sheet. I didn't create the original layout. I found the file on line and tweaked it to make it very printer friendly. The more ink I can save printing stuff the better :)Quote:
