Yes the Borg are a "ass-handing" race, but all players need to meet up with the "Great Wyrm Red Dragon" sometime in their careers.

To answer your questions;

1] Yesindeed, it was the first flash of her TK ability which had previously only been seen in Mindfield. Jago was begining to worry and so was the Captain. Much of her shore leave coming up was to be spent at the Federation Psionic Institue.

2] Yeah the Exeter died a quiet death that day. But in the end she would give way for a Galaxy class USS Exeter, which will be sent out on a 10 year mission to explore and chart the Pleaides. :)

3] Great Wyrm Red Dragon? Oh wait this must be a D&D ref...got it. Good analogy!

4] Glad to see all is well with your electronic ;)

5] Jago's Gambit and Fal Tor Pan both are shore-leave adventures that got them into a bit of trouble, and then Contrivences 1 & 2 featre a part two surprise that may or may not make you happy :)

Yes, the Pleiades (note spelling) is an actual cluster of stars, also known as the Seven Sisters. It is one of two groups of stars in the constellation Taurus, the other being the Hyades. The Pleiades are about 375 ly from Earth, and the Hyades about 151 ly.

The names of the seven sisters are: Alkyone, Asterope, Elektra, Kelaino, Maia, Merope and Taygete.
these are AFAICT the greek names. If you find a list giving slightly different names that would than be the latin names for these stars.

Hey Zym! Why go to the Galaxy-class for the new Exeter? It seems to me that once an old ship get kaked they always upgrade to the Galaxy. The new Excalibur is a Galaxy class, several of the groups here have gone Galaxy to. Why not something else? The SRM is out to expand the type of ships used?

Mosly becuase canon wise nothing other than the Nebula, Galaxy or Sovereign interest me in the big ships.

Of the smaller ships I only like Nova and can live with an Intrepid.

I don't want to go down a notch, maybe I should give him a Nebula ;)

IMHO the Galaxy is the most flexible design. The Sovereign is a bit extreme, its a hybrid warship/explorer keeping in line with Starfleet's more militaristic outlook in the wake of the Borg invasion and other wars. The Galaxys are more balanced, a true keeper of the spirit of Starfleet which is why after my players blew up their last ship, they got a Galaxy instead of a newer more powerful design as replacement.

I know I'll probably take a hit for this, especially considering what I said about canon and Enterprise.

Why worry about canon in a Trek game, your world after all. Just to give some suggestions on ships that I would use (now I fully realize you are not me)

New Orleans
Niagra
Renaissance
Sequoia (if don't mind a ship named after a National Park :D)
Zodiac
Any of the FC ships (I realize I am probably the only advocate of these designs. What can I say I like them.)

I view most of these as "semi-canon" the classes are mentioned in the Encyclopedia. These are only suggestions please don't take this as a criticism. As you pointed out if you only go by canon you limit yourself to only 3 designs.

Because of the plan to crash the Cardie ship into the Borg cube, did the Farscape get her Helmsmen and Delin out?

If she was brought back safely, hows Lindsay's and Delin's new friendship affect her Cardassian regime? Could this cause another splintering of the Cardassian government?

I was simplely curious because I was sure the Lex's series would cover these questions.

Also Janeway. I think it is a good idea that she would be promoted to an Admiral and then shuffled off to the Academy. Janeway (to me) was a scientist and a teacher. It would be a perfect place to put her. Now as for Lt. Hansen. I'm sure the Lex could always use another Science officer, experienced in Astrometrics. :))

Oops, I never even thought to mention, yes the plan was a success. Everyone was gotten back on board at the last possible second, except fot the Cardassian XO who beamed over and took the helm to make sure there was no divergence of course. You know one of those moment fo sel scarficie.

Well this will come to play more later in the campaign, but given Delin was the one who was tryin to rebuild the Empire around her, things will change. ;)

Well Seven has a long tour ahead of her with Starfleet, explaining everything she knows about the BORG. Once she is done with that, maybe she will show up on the Lexington :)

Lysa Vassus, she's new to the deceased list is she not. Another Magma-Roman. Looks like Stocker got his far share of the Romans on his ship. I hope she went out like a true Roman Lady.

Actually the good lady is from Episode 107: Obligations.

She met her end at the end of a noose...but her story has yet to be told. She was wanted for questioning by Starfleet Security in regards to the Magna-Roman revolution of Independance.

Before she could be asked any questions, she hung herself in her quarters.

And oddly enough, not one of the players thought to investigate why that might have been. ::evil grin::

Well, not blowing my own horn. Hanged herself? I would have investigated, that is not a way a Roman would have killed herself. Hanging (assuming the MRs adopted it) would be for criminals...I doubt Our Lady would have considered herself a criminal, even if she was part of the Revolution.

Just my interest in forensic matters.

Not that there was anything wrong with the first version. Its just the Romans were very "theatrical" about suicide, falling on their swords, opening the veins in their arms, and of course some of the more nastier poisons.

I wasn't trying to be smart, I really thought that it was a clue that someting strange was going on and that she had a little help kicking the chair out from under her. A little over analyzation can go a long way. :D

See why didn't my players investigate to find out if there may have been some "assitence" in this little endeavour?

Not that I left a clue, I just figured it would be investigated, but it wasn't.

No she did not kill herslef, yes she committed suicide.

Okay since my players do not come here. Vaussus was one of many Magna-Romans who had inside information as to the Tal Shiar support of the Magna-Roman revolution.

With the JAG officers coming to question her and the risk of her revealing what she knew, or being mind scanned by Jago Vlasdric, the undercover Tal Shiar agent on the ship went into action and killed her, making it look like a suicide.

I had typed in a whole bunch of info as to who the spy was etc...But I have now decided I want it to be someone else, but I don't know who now. So I will have to give this much thought.

The only clue I will give you in the end is that the spy is psionicly activ. And a Romulan in disguise. :)

Absolutely.

Basically a plot between the Tal Shiar, Obsidian Order and the breakaway Imperial Klingon States is designed to undermine the security of all three Alpha Quadrant powers.

Once chaos sets in, the Tal Shiar will seize the Romulan Empire, the IKS will invade the Klingon Empire, and the Federation will be so spread thin they won't be able to stop the Cardassian Union from falling to the hands of the new Obsidian Order.

Once all three governments are secure they will turn their sights on the Federation and make her fight a 3 front war.

Minor set backs have come in the way of their plan though, with Legate Delin now preaching for stronger ties with the Federation, they may have to kill her and put someone else in her place.

Delin is now a Legate, and voicing support for the Federation. Nice.

I always took that only the higher ranked officers were given the bathtubs. Our good RM nurse, who only qualifies for a sonic shower, had to find some other way in committing suicide. A logical conclusion for a security officer and probablely the reason for no investigation. Just a thought.

Hmmmm.....

I think I will leave it as is, with her doing the bath.

I thought that Jago's Gambit sounded like a very intersting episode...Old friends, a mystery, angry Klingons, and multiple explosions.:D A good nights entertainment.

Fal tor pan, ditto. Minus the Klingons and the explosions of course. :D The only thing I didn't like was Saavik being arrested, but that is only because she is one of my favourite characters.

All in all two top notch games. As I said before I wished I lived a little closer to Montreal. I look forward to others, especially finding out which old TNG enemy you spoke of. Keep up the good work.
