How about this:

Khan realizes that his planet - Ceti Alpha VI - will face an ecological disaster unless he can go back in time and bring back (to the present) a pair of Ceti Alpha Eels. :p

Maybe they're not doing a new Wrath of Khan, but a new Space Seed? Expanded version of the episode with a much bigger budget and all that?

We had that in The Wrath Of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Undiscovered Country, Insurrection, and Nemesis, Plus Trek 2009.

Enough already.

A retelling of a 'Balance of Terror' Style Episode, perhaps with the new klingons, would be of far more interest.
