SVC’s Ares class Battleship



A bit too ‘twinky’ for me, particularly for the era. Four over-sized nacelles and phasers and high-torps all over the place. To their credit, in SFB they never actually BUILT this thing.

The Ares looks to me like the very model of the BUK (Butt-Ugly Kitbash).

Mandel’s Ak’Hist AS-E2 Destroyer

Another Amalgram, largely due to the one ‘3 view’ picture I had of this not only not matched Mandel’s, but didn’t have all three views lined up right.

The Klingons seem to have destroyer miniaturization down to a science. Starfleet could take some lessons from them. Still, I kinda like the thing, but maybe more as a scout.
