Well it certainly looks inpressive and the content is remaining very consistent.
I'm a little unsure about the 'shield disruption' manouver - how long is the ship's shields disrupted for - If it's permanent I would have said it should be scalled VS the shields strength - possibly as high as 15 + Protection?
Liked the Verteron Pulse manouver - very tricky but very potent !
The ammendment to the damage scales for ship to hand weapons is nice - meaning unless you can get a hand weapon with a setting of 20 - it is only going to score one damage - enough to not bother most ships 9if the officer can even hit the shields!)
I will have a look over the mass combat rules, but it's not something I've attempted or intend too for a while yet in my campaign, but it could happen ! :D
Thanks guys :)
Oops, I had intended for Shield Disruption to last... permanently. You're right, the TN has to be as high as Protection + 15. Thanks for pointing it out! I'm on my way to correcting it.
I'm now working on The way of the craft - new professional abilities globally regarding the new stuff found in ESO.
Hey KW.
I have been monitoring your work and I must say our organisation is impressed (cue: mock Blofeld laughter)... :D
No seriously. It looks fantastic. Any ideas how long the overall document will be though. Just so I know whether I should start saving up for a new colour printer cartredge.
And what's you ETA on the finished product. Because I, like everyone else it seems, cannot wait.
Thank you very much for your continued interest and compliments sir :)
I do not dare giving ETAs anymore as I was regularly late :D But, well, I think I can safely say that it will be finished before the end of September. Hopefully a lot sooner than that but I found myself at a fault already so I prefer to take a wide margin for announcing the finished product :)
Just the pics make it look sooo goooood. Can't wait...well I have to...damn it....
You say the end of September (hopefully)...is that with or without giving up other life functions (eating, bathroom, sex, TV-time...etc)? :D
May bad luck lose (loose?) your coordinates.
Thanks! :)
Well, as for the regular life fuctions, I'll give up all except sex. After all, that's the only really necessary function isn't it :D
KW sayeth:

You won't get any disagreements from me, or James T. Kirk for that matter:p
***stamps foot impatiently*** I'm running my game again in about a month, I'm hoping most of it will be done by then - as it's going to be damn useful - Especially the handouts and Starship Character sheets!
'zactly. I have to find a compromise between sex and working on the sourcebook before campaigns begin :) Ah, tough, it is tough :)
Seriously... I'm working on the double on it right now. :D
Well if you need a hand, just let me know. I'm handy on DTP and Photoshop and Illustrator.
The sex or the book? On second thought, I don't want to know. Just let us know when you have more details about the sex...I mean the book. :DQuote:

Well, I have more details - as to which one I leave you to guess :D
Chapter 4 is finished:

This one you never saw before in the samplers ('cause it's rather short, 6 pages): it's all professional abilities and crew profiles depending on starship / station classifications.
I hope you like it - feedback as always is greatly appreciated! :)
Aw, come on, dude! Take one for the team!Quote:

The overal layout is fantastic. However, the light blues you've used on your charts and subject headings will not print very well on all but the most advanced colour printers - and they'll be unreadable on monochrome printers.
Might I humbly suggest you follow Decipher's lead and change them to a more substantial and solid colour.
The inclusion of the pictures is a great touch (but be careful re: copyright. Viacom/Paramount's take on the use of the Star Trek and it's related images for unofficial products/websites has been "desist or see you in court pal"). Remember when all those unofficial Star Trek sites shut down under pressure from Paramout Legal a few years back.
