"D'oh! Well.....where could we put them?"
"How about we just sling it underneath....like this."

OK, a first try. This is the Strider-Class Light Explorer ( named after Aragorn, of course ;) ). It supposed to be an enhanced Oberth-Class, suited for longer durations and a little more armed, enabling it to serve as Reconship in times of war... Its not yet perfect but for a first try.

You mean the Oxford, as James T. Kirk's early command?

This one was more based on the Cortez, since DC was extremely lazy in drawing the Oxford.
