Not much I can add except for my heartfelt condolences. It sounds like he had a life to remember. Whenever I'm at a funeral for a lost loved one, I find I'm actually mourning for us, the survivors who have to go on without that person who so touched our lives.

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family, Don. Knowing what it felt like to lose a parent myself, my heart goes out to all of you.

When one loses a relative, particularly a parent, it is a devastating blow. Our thoughts and well-wishes go out to you and to your family in this sad time.

My condolences on your recent loss Don, I have no way to even imagine what this is like for you. I called my Dad this morning to tell him I love him. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
John

This is rather hard for me to do, as I lost my father a year ago. The pain still lingers, but for the most part you remember all the good times that happened when you were together. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
-
Don;
My condolences. I lost my parents when I was a teen. I know that it's rough. Our thoughts and good wishes are with you.
