Is there a new ranking system?

Are the ranks somehow associated with the number of posts per day? (I can see my answer now... "figuring out the ranks is half the fun...)

Nah, i don't think it has anything to do with posts per day.

Captain Zymmer is the same rank i am. and i have only 0.37 posts per day, while he has 6.50. (Yes, i actually lost time looking that up.) (Btw Zymmer, you knew how the boards worked when you choose a new alias. Why choose one with a rank in it, kinda looks dumb if you ask me. :))

Probably works like old times, except there's a lot more ranks and it takes a lot more posts to reach them.

I just hope it doesn't start a spamming war to get to the higher thanks. That's what i liked about the old system. Once you were out of the newbie (Ensign) phase, that's basically as high as you could get :)

It would be interesting to see what my rank is. But thats all in the past now being a moderating Commordore :D

Still maybe Dan is right and 2000 will be commander?
