Thanks to Steve Long for taking time out of HERO-ing to finish this up (he got his copy before anyone else, in case you were wondering) and to Owen and Cpt. Lundgren for hosting the files. The delay in the layout was entirely my fault (I'm still not sure where the original file is...) but I'm also glad I got the chance to redo it.

I haven't been conversant in the details of Spacedock for years, so feel free to note any apparent errors and discrepancies. Likewise, any layout problems–except for the italics on page 4. I know about those. Don't ask.

That was a great surprise to find when I got home from work. I haven't read it yet, but flipped through it quickly, will read later tonight after dinner.

This was, to be honest, a welcome surprise. I have to complement those involved - the rules and ships are quite good, and the timing was great, too - I was just about to start a Romulan-focused campaign, and this will give me even more ships to involve in it, plus Spacedock stats for the ship I was considering using (Meret class - I love that ship).

Right now that looks like the last of the SRMs. I had ideas for several others, the next one being about starbases and space stations, but I have done almost no work on 'em and at this point lack the time to write any more (and even if I did, I'd need to use the time to write more Hero books that I can make money from ;) ). But hopefully five or six books' worth of ships is enough for most folx. :D

I don't know too many game designers who would have done six whole gamebooks for free! Steve, you are ([Stewie mode] Oh, blast, what the duece do the kids say these days? [/Stewie mode]) DA MAN!!!

i have to agree. this is quite the labor of love for all those invovled and it has rekindled my interest in a couple of trek games i used to play. to those of you who currently support these ebooks , i thank you for your efforts.:D

Has anyone statted the big beautiful warbird from Nemesis? Not the Scimitar, but the two Romulan ships that tried to help Picard. I liked those a lot, probably more than anything else in the movie, not excluding the plot or characterizations. :rolleyes:

You mean Commander Donatra's ship, the Valdore.

To my knowledge this has not been statted out as a Spacedock ship. :(

Good stuff, Omega. It's big, powerful, and dangerous, but doesn't cross the line into munchkinoid. Speaking of big, why did you choose Size 8? I got the impression from the movie that they were noticeably larger than E-E, even though they weren't nearly as big as Scimitar.

I had the same problem with DW and Starfleet Ships. TOS and Rom worked OK. I haven't tried the others lately.

I've heard a few other reports of that problem - do you guys need one of the books? If so I have copies of all of them (I think), as far as any download issues, that's beyond my control.

Noticed that the old site was down, probably since I installed the patches during the hollidays :o

That is back up and running, and I have also uppdated the link in the first post. Any local problem to download will probably give the same result from both sites. But who knows :)

If there's a call for it, I can mirror the Spacedock files on my site. It's not CODA, but it is pretty cool.

That's weird, it should be embedded in the file. What reader are you using?

Adobe version 9.something.

I'm getting the same message, but it's hasn't affected the read ability of the document. To be honest, I'm not finding that font in use anyplace, visable, on the PDF.

The Reader is 9.?, and my full version of Acrobat is 6.?

Funny thing is, it's only the Reader that gives me the message, the other just complains it's out of date.
