Hello!

Do you mind if I put this up on Memory: ICON?
Owen E Oulton, Webmaster, Memory: ICON
There is no problem for me but it is not myself to decide as it is not my program. I've only made some data updates.
Where are the Andorians?
Just after you choose a sex, it is the fifth choice of the race list (between Algolian and Angel One).
I'm always looking for new packages and/or new species.
Now how did I miss that?
How about the Aenar?
"Aenar" is not a "species" by itself. It's an andorian sub-species. (Just like the Xindi ones)
But if someone as a template or a proposition of...
Yes well, that's true.
But all the Xindi are included in the generator.
These are the stats created by Stephen M. Wood.

Don't worry! I've add the Aenar to the generator. (See the new file upper)
Is that the only new thing?
Whaddaya want, a biscuit?
Has anyone the "biscuit" species template? :D
If anybody has some new "canon" packages and/or species I'll update data when I'll have time.
Hrm, I better start working on the Species Database again.
Not sure I have a biscuit template, but I could see what I can come up with. . . :p
Well, it's simplier for all to download the whole file in once rather than just put the new files in the right folder.
I've picked a Saurian Species template and found some information on it. So I'll surely add it in the next update.
Saurian?
I think one of those guys got killed in the "Time to..." novels.
Pity, great character.
So, I've been looking at the Human Template, have I got this right?
Attributes - 17 points
Skills - 30 points
Traits - 3 points
Total - 50 points
The reason I ask is that I thought the two extra courage points would be worth more than 1 point each. I think they cost as much as a new skill in fact?
Am I wrong?
A courage point cost 5 XP. So for 2 courage points it'll make 10XP.
I'm sure that all the species and packages don't have the same point total in the generator. For many of them I simply copied the whole stats that I found in books or internet.
And when I created a species template or a package by myself, I always tried to "flesh out" caracteristics that fit well rather than to make balanced species templates/packages. It's my choice.
Is there any way to make the random character a little more... standard?
It seems to me that when randomly generating a character rather than devel;oping it step by step it seems to rotate through about 12 relatively similar combos of species and job. But that most of these would be oddities that would not fit into a normal game or as an NPC (ie, its a Delta Quadrant species in a standard TNG game)
The random characer seems a great idea for instant NPC's, but I always seem to end up with one of 12 options, and once the likely suspects have been removed, the resta are les useful.
I know, I know, its a free character generator, made for the love of it, not an all singing/dancing bit of kit! :D
I know that the program has many bugs but I can't fix it simply because I don't have any access to the program itself. One of my goal was to update it but it's impossible. I can just do some data updates as I never managed to contact Reliant., the creator of this program.
