Taurhestia is the sixth Planet in orbit around a Class B7 star roughly 11,700 ly from the Federation Core Worlds, and it is a Temperate world, often as dry and chilly as a late October Night on Terra. There are numerous plains and smaller mountains, with somewhat high radioactive count, which has been exploited by the Taurhai for vast Technological developments. Much of this planet's surface is land.
The first planet in the system is a charred Class D Planetoid that is mineral rich, an occasional mining excurison in heavily shielded transports being made a few times a decade. The second planet is a 1.5g Class E Uberearth, most heavily mined for minerals, which has two similarly mined moons. The third planet is a Class L Oxygen-Argon world home to Insectivore Jackelope-tye creatures and numerous insectoid lifeforms, the most prominent being 0.9 meter long grey Grasshopper type creatures and 0.33 meter ladybug organisms.
The fourth planet is a 55 Cancri E type world with tremendously abundant diamonds, although somewhat smaller, with two moons, the fifth planet is a Class G Desert world with one moon, home to some reclusive, highly artistic Taurhai, the seventh planet is a Class T Watergiant with 138 moon, the eighth planet is a Class J Gas Giant with a large purple spot and 39 moons, and the ninth and tenth planets are green-grey Class I Ice Giants with 25 and 14 moons respectively.

Interesting. Though I'm along-time ICON GM, I never really cottoned to the Taurhai. I was always more interested in the Kinshaya, though not the silly version psuedo-gryphons portrayed in the novels. Mine are based in pure FASA.
