use coda rukles following mods double durability middle warp speed is movement use a hex map weapons damage individually instead of figuring penetration....the firepower is used for each individual weapon. Ranges for weapons is easy short range is base firepower +3 max range is short range squared missle weapons only have a max range 2x thgere firepower .

weapon power refers to offensive value
if you fire a missle at a ship the same hex you are in both ships take the OV in damage
laid mines cover one hex in area
TOS ships ((Archers Era throguh Trek movie 6)) fight at half value against TNG ships
combat is inititive movement firing weapons resolution
