Species and ICON stuff
I have been on a bit of an ICON kick recently, and found myself going over some other stuff than the old Trill Chargen...
And am now toying with some reformatted ICON stuff, new species (well, new back when anyway), and the like, making it all look so pretty, doing a decent spell/grammer chack and generally updating.
I will post it all in here when I've done if you want.

Dont get too excited guys. Most of what I have has already been posted before, many years ago, hell I used these forums to rebuild much of this lost data after a crash back in 04.
But I can tidy it up, reformat into .pdf and add pics.
First five docs. It takes longer than you think to update and reformat. LOL. So I guess I will keep myself (and the ICON section) busy for a bit.
I must note that in some cases these are attached to works from others and some co-authorships. Some of us are still about others are not... But as I had the notes from who wrote what I can leave that all in there.
Who knows I might one day finish the notes for 29th century timefleet and Bajor... Yeah, I know, I'm a tease...
Feedback as always is welcome, especially now we are all a bit older and wiser!

Great to hear this. Kinda weird but I've gotten a renewed interest in LUG, probably following the star trek dvd, and while I have Decipher, I rather like ICON and its approach to things.
An Augment writeup would be nice eventually, but no rush :) At present under ICON its seems pretty easy to just give them 5s or 6s, with +1 or +2 edges and make them bastards :)

Hey there guys. I have a new one for you.
*Gasp!*
Yes. Brand new, not a rehash and pretty version of an old one like the others!
And so without further ado (too late), the Pacificans. This is a brand new one and unplayed, and so feedback for finalising a version would be appreciated...

I'm guessing they developed spaceflight considerably sooner than humans, and visited the islands of western Europe hundreds of years ago...

I thought stealing a selkie's skin prevented it from returning to the sea?
-
hehe. Cant take the credit for that one. I lifted the text mostly from the wiki from the details in the Titan books...
Other than that? Seem OK? What about the new rule?
-
I haven't checked the math on the stats, but my eyeball estimate is that it's a well-rounded character. I'd allow them in my game, if I had one.
By new rule, do you mean Amphibian +3? Seems fair to me. From the description of the Selkies, I'm guessing they lose that advantage when they grow up and have to go back to the sea.

All adds up and looks very good, thanks Dan

I have had a thought that might also add a little more colour and tie nicely in... Perhaps a 1-pointer.
Medical Condition; Aquatic -1
Character needs to return to an aquatic environment at least once per day, and as such requires specialist quarters that are able to relpicate this environment.
In exchange for a 1 point edge of some sort.
Anyone disgree?

Sure, 1 or 2 pt disadvantage, bought off with remedy environmental suit ?

I asked BrianK to do some starships (he was always better at them that I was)...
But who do you want to see next? The Hirogen or the Malon?
