Notes on the Excelsior from back at the begining of the year
It has been a while sense I have posted anything but here is something that we were planing to use back in January.
In Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and even a few episodes of Voyager there are a number of valiant versions of the Excelsior Class starships that have with stode the test of time. The Federation Starfleet has used the Excelsior class as it had the Constitution in prevous century as a workhorse and frontline line of battle ship. I have made up several versions of the Excelsior that differ only slightly from one another but the differences make the ships inviduals to one another no different in our modern ships that there are small differences to one another but not enough to change their designations.
What is below is the modification of the Excelsior that we were going to be usuing for a series of adventures. It is a little more detailed to what the ship would be with the location of the spasific parts of the ship. The series was interupted with the introduction the virus sense then we have not gathered together to run any adventures. I polished it up to post here. Sometime in the future we hope that we can run the series. We never got around to even naming the ship for the series. This was the Berlin and it is the ship that we were basing the ship off of for the series time that was ten years before the Next Generation.
The little back history for the ship is that it has just gotten out of its final refit and was reentering service as patrol ship. it would be stationed somewhere near a starbase where it would provide local support and defense of the station and planets from raiders and emergancy support to planets in peril.
