This Class became,based on two failed designs in 2269: one for a larger Freighter, the other for a new Light Escort in 2275, a midsized Destroyer, made possible 71% of the way by the expansion of Shipyards and the 1X project, supplementing the Baker Class, with some of the class seeing 75-85 years of service.
