I'd have to say Martok and the DS9-era Kor. The two episodes Kor was in really added depth to the character - not to mention John Colicos' acting (who'd have thought Baltar could act?!).

Firefly is dead on TV. Joss Whedon has stated that he's looking into other "options" for the show. I'm guessing a movie of the week or miniseries kind of thing.
