Marketing and politics are sometimes horribly similar.
Anybody know what Doug's status is now?
Check out Mithril Miniatures at http://www.mithril.ie
Excellent workmanship, subject matter pertaining directly to Middle-earth, and damned good customer service. One downside - they're in...
I have no idea what you're talking about....
do, dee dum....
Boy, that Cities and Strongholds 2 book looks really really cool! I think everyone should get it because it looks so cool!
;)
Dude - those are nice.
Ineti - I suggest putting a space between the cards on the sheet to make it easier to cut them. With no space there, you have to be exact when you cut, or you're going to have the different colors...
I think the plan is to have the Shroud adventure be PDFed in the June issue, then have Bandits in Bree for July with a PDF of it in August, then Spies in the South in September with a PDF in October....
You mean from the Gazetteer? I'm not sure you can, but I'll check on it for you.

The PDF version of Deadman's Dike is now available on this month's issue of The Guild Companion .

Well, it's that time, and the April issue of The Guild Companion is up (link below).
This issue has the first adventure of the second convention track we used last year at GenCon and DecipherCon...
The .pdf version should be up in the April issue.
YES! TGC is very interested in future submissions....
You can check out submissions guidelines at the website (under the "Where Am I?" link).
The maps are based on the films insofar as this is possible - BUT - if there is a contradiction between the two, the stuff I sent the cartographer chooses rather the books. Where the movie fills out...
Well, I'm not going to be much use to you here, not being a marketing dude.
1) Your guess is as good as mine - but my guess is the same as the first set.
2) This is a HUGE question mark, AFAIK. ...
For those of you interested, here's some info on the second map set.
As you may or may not know, it is as of now titled Cities and Strongholds of Middle-earth.
It will include 6 maps, with...
Well, they didn't go through any processes of edition or production at Decipher, so I'd venture to say they're not "official."
As far as approved goes, the few Decipher folks that have seen them...
It looks like we WILL have a complete PDF of the adventure, but it won't appear until next month's issue (alongside adventure one from a second Chronicle).
So, both good and bad news. ;-)
...
Thanks!
I'm not sure (the issue just went up today). I'll check with the HTML wizards to see what they've got, and if they can post it.

Finally! The introductory adventure which was presented at Origins, GenCon, and DecipherCon last year is now available at The Guild Companion (http://www.guildcompanion.com). Let me know what you...
No sweat - just thought maybe you were misinformed.
One thing you should remember is that there is SO much material to deal with when you're talking Middle-earth that you can't cover it all...
Point of procedure: Angmar is in Eriador, not Rhovanion.
The second map set isn't going to be like the first in that it focuses on cities and strongholds instead of regional maps.

In the first map set? Yes. But you have to remember with the first map set that these maps are better suited to being props in a game than GM aids. There are more towns, etc on them though.

Come on, now... no need to so off-handedly bruise my ego....
I promise it'll be good. At least by my definition of the word. ;)

I'd have to say that if the idea is to both introduce a newbie to sci-fi and give them some 'cultural literacy' for the sci-fi and fantasy sub-cultures, this is what I'd recommend, in no particular...
